1. Scope of Application
These Terms of Use govern the use of the browser-based game AlunaCore Universe, operated by AlunaCore (hereinafter referred to as the “Operator”).
By registering a user account or using the game, users agree to these Terms of Use.
Upon registration, a free-of-charge usage agreement is concluded between the user and the Operator.
2. Participation Requirements
(1) The use of AlunaCore Universe is permitted for persons aged 13 and older.
(2) By registering, the user truthfully confirms that they have reached the required minimum age.
(3) The Operator reserves the right to suspend or delete user accounts in case of violations of this requirement.
3. Registration and User Accounts
(1) Registration of a user account is required to use the game.
(2) A user account is permanently linked to the provided email address.
(3) User accounts are personal and may only be used by the registered user, unless otherwise expressly permitted in these Terms of Use.
(4) There is no entitlement to registration or permanent availability of a user account.
4. Account Use / Account Sharing (“Sitting”)
(1) Each account may generally only be used by one person.
(2) Temporary use of an account by third parties (“sitting”) is permitted provided that:
- the Operator or a responsible Operator is informed in advance,
- the duration does not exceed 72 hours,
- for short-term sitting of less than 12 hours, a simple notification is sufficient.
(3) During sitting, the in-game restrictions apply (e.g. limited fleet movements).
(4) The commercial transfer of accounts is prohibited.
(5) Account transfers may occur no more than once every three months and must be free of charge.
5. Multiple Accounts
(1) Only one account per universe is permitted per player.
(2) If multiple accounts are used from the same internet connection (e.g. schools, universities, households), this must be reported in advance.
(3) In such cases, interactions between the affected accounts (e.g. fleet contact or resource transfers) are prohibited.
6. Fair Play and Game Mechanics
(1) Pushing is prohibited. Pushing includes, in particular, resource transfers without adequate compensation from lower-ranked to higher-ranked accounts.
(2) Trade transactions must be completed within 24 hours or reported to the Operator.
(3) Bashing (more than five attacks within 24 hours on the same planet) is prohibited unless a valid declaration of war exists.
(4) Additional combat-related restrictions result from the applicable in-game rules.
7. Attacks and Game Limits
(1) A maximum of 1000 attacks per account is permitted within 24 hours.
(2) The number of missiles used per attack is not affected by this limitation.
8. Technical Integrity and Bug Abuse
(1) The exploitation of programming errors, bugs or exploits is prohibited.
(2) Discovered bugs must be reported to the Operator without delay.
(3) Cheating, manipulation or the use of unauthorized tools is prohibited.
9. Communication and Conduct
(1) The official game languages are German and English.
(2) Insults, threats, extortion or other harassing content are prohibited.
(3) Advertising, spam, as well as pornographic or erotic content are prohibited.
(4) These rules apply to:
- the in-game chat,
- official AlunaCore Discord servers,
- other communication channels provided by the Operator (e.g. Uni-Funk, Uni-Chat).
10. Sanctions and Measures
(1) In the event of violations of these Terms of Use, the Operator may take appropriate measures.
(2) These may include warnings, temporary suspensions or permanent account bans.
(3) The type and severity of measures depend on the nature, extent and frequency of the violation.
11. Availability and Liability
(1) The game is provided free of charge.
(2) There is no entitlement to permanent availability, error-free operation or specific features.
(3) The Operator shall not be liable for data loss or service interruptions unless caused by intent, gross negligence, or mandatory statutory liability.
12. Virtual Content and Ownership
(1) All virtual content within the game remains the property of the Operator.
(2) Users do not acquire ownership of accounts, game progress or virtual goods.
(3) Account suspension or deletion does not give rise to any compensation claims.
13. Amendments to the Terms of Use
(1) The Operator reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use.
(2) Users are obliged to regularly inform themselves about the current version.
(3) Material changes will be announced in an appropriate manner. Continued use of the game after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

15. In-Game Deception and Manipulation
Strategic deception, bluffing, disinformation and manipulation are integral parts of the game mechanics and are explicitly permitted, provided they relate exclusively to in-game actions and do not violate applicable laws or the protective rules defined below.
There is no entitlement to truthfulness, fairness or morally correct behavior between players within gameplay.
16. Communication and Protection of Minors
The use of direct messages, private chats or comparable non-public communication channels is permitted exclusively for users aged 18 and older.
It is prohibited to:
- contact minors via private messages
- encourage minors to engage in private communication
- indirectly contact minors via circumvention methods or external platforms
Minors are permitted to:
- read alliance news, official system messages and administrative broadcasts
- apply to alliances
- found and manage alliances
- actively participate in gameplay
Minors are prohibited from using private or non-public communication channels.
17. Unauthorized Contact and Legal Measures
Any attempt to unlawfully contact minors or draw them into private communication spaces is considered a serious violation.
In such cases, the Operator expressly reserves the right to:
- immediately suspend or permanently remove accounts
- secure relevant data within the legally permitted scope
- forward the incident to the competent law enforcement authorities
18. Moderation and Automated Systems
Automated moderation systems as well as human moderators are used to ensure secure and stable operation.
Automated systems may detect clear violations and take action.
In cases of ambiguity or overlapping rules, no automated sanction is imposed. Such cases are documented and forwarded to human moderators for decision.
There is no entitlement to an immediate decision.
19. Measures in Case of Rule Violations
In the event of clear violations, particularly of age, communication or protection rules, or attempts to circumvent technical security mechanisms, measures may be taken without prior warning.
These measures may include restrictions, temporary suspensions or permanent account bans.
20. Final Provisions
(1) The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply.
(2) Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
The enforcement of these rules serves the protection of users, particularly minors, as well as the legal, technical and organizational integrity of the platform.
Paid Additional Services (currently not offered)
At present, no paid services, subscriptions or in-game purchases are offered.
Should AlunaCore Universe offer paid additional services in the future, separate terms and the legally required withdrawal information shall apply.
Consumer Dispute Resolution
We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
